Edit PDF
Edit PDF is a full in-page editor. With the "Edit Text" tool you can click any existing text in the PDF and change it directly; you can also add new text and images, draw shapes and freehand annotations, apply highlights or true redaction, and place a digital signature. On scanned pages with no text layer, free text detection (OCR) kicks in. Everything happens in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — with the "Edit Text" tool you click existing text and type the new text; in the PDF you download, the new text is real, selectable text. Technically, the original text is covered with a background color automatically sampled from the page, and the new text is placed in the same spot — due to how PDFs are structured, the original text object itself isn't literally modified.
