Edit PDF
Edit PDF is a full in-page editor. With the "Edit Text" tool you can click any existing text in the PDF and change it directly; you can also add new text and images, draw shapes and freehand annotations, apply highlights or true redaction, and place a digital signature. On scanned pages with no text layer, free text detection (OCR) kicks in. Everything happens in your browser.
How to use

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this genuinely edit the existing PDF text, or does it just cover it up?
Wherever possible, we edit the PDF's own text directly at the content-stream level — no overlay layer is added. Only when the font structure doesn't allow this do we fall back to a compatible method, and you're told exactly when that happens.
Can I add new images, shapes, or drawings?
Yes, alongside text editing, you can also add images, shapes/rectangles, and freehand drawing.
Can I edit text on scanned PDFs?
For scanned pages with no text layer, you first need OCR to detect the text; the recognized text can then be edited.
If I replace text with something longer, will it overflow?
If the new text is too long for the space, you're warned about the overflow risk, with an option to reduce the font size if needed.
